  • the black envelope they put the invoice in is probably worth 50p on ebay so factor that in...

  • +1 for the wind jacket. I've worn it pretty much all winter with a long sleeve base layer and short sleeve jersey. Could be worn with arm warmers etc. Breathes better than the rain jacket I hear.

  • stuff comes in those black plastic bags

and takes an age to arrive.

Although I did get a free hat, stickers and chamois samples last time...

  • and takes an age to arrive. Plus freebies.

How much did you have to order to get a free hat?

  • hahaha

  • Strong look.

  • considers going clubbing in club jersey tonight

  • I think you could almost pull that off in the Team Sky Club Jersey. That thing is hot... and not overly garish.

  • yea the sky one looks better but they all have a bit of a PC World staff look.

I thought that was where it was supposed to be worn?

  • yea the sky one looks better but they all have a bit of a PC World staff look.

Great to ride in, though. Love my purply-red one from last year - it carries my Festive 500 and Rapha Rising patches. Might get the Sky one this year.

  • Just seen that Sky club jersey. That oozes class.

    Might have to get it.

  • How much did you have to order to get a free hat?

Sale jersey + old baselayer deal + refer-a-friend discount.

Think it may have been because I drunkenly messed up the delivery address and they had to resend it, to be honest...

  • Digging the look of the Hooded Wind Jacket.

  • Whats the difference between a regular sleeveless baselayer and an italian one? I presume skinnier fit?

The Italian base layer has the Pantani quote on it instead of the Lapize quote.

    Lifted from Rapha site:-

    • The white sleeveless version is available with choice of two slogans: VOUS ETES DES ASSASSINS , the famous exhortation from Octave Lapize after his 1910 ascent of the Col d' Aubisque; and CARPEGNA MI BASTA, Marco Pantani's nod to his beloved Monte Carpegna, the training ground for so many of Il Pirata's victories.*
  • Right whats the sizing like of the rapha bibs?

Are the pro team, classic and 3/4 all same fit?

I am a M in Assos and Craft so should I stick with M in rapha?

    Size down

  • This is why I can't have nice things. Kept the rain, sleet, and snow out. Shame the Rapha gloves got saturated and let my fingers freeze. Poor choice by me. Wished I had those water proof over mittens so bad a couple of hours ago....

    if waffa made mudguards...

  • Any codes going? Had a couple saved but they're dead now, unlucky.

  • Those little labels on the front of the base layers just look silly. Forgot about them and put on a thrift store V-neck on top. Will spend the rest of the day looking like a bell end.

  • I once had an orange Slazenger v-neck - the perfect "brawling in a Chelmsford car park circa 1982" look.

  • Everyone knows about the rapha labels there....i wear mine with pride.

Free postage would be handy now ;)
