Umm, unsure whether to go for the Raeburn winter hat or the knitted one.
Anyone got any of their belgian hats?

Any of our tame-raphaengers on the inside know if they'll be getting any more of the uber long winter socks?

HatBeard, I have one of the country belgian hats, and it's feckin great. Extremely hot though, I wore it once on a fast weekend ride at about 3 degrees and had to take it off after about 20 mins. Good for commutes / pootles / posing though.

Like you I find them too warm as well, the best compromise I found was the Rapha Merino Hat, quite thin, but nice and toasty without getting steamed up for a long ride.

These are one of my favourite pieces of rapha kit ever. perfect for running in the cold as well.

I have the merino hat on my Xmas list. Looks the most likely to fit nicely under a lid. My On-one merino is a baggy mess, and I've barely washed it.

the lightweight cap, any opinions?
I need a xmas pressie for a very bald and sweaty old man who only cycles in a warm and humid climate. He needs a head cover to stop his head from sunburn and cotton caps get saturated pretty quickly.any alternatives to the rapha one?
I'm both bald and sweaty and really like my Walz: http://www.walzcaps.com/caps_moisturewicking.html

I've got a winter knitted hat and the winter hat and they're both pretty nice - there's not much in it in terms of performance but I think the winter hat is slightly better on colder and wetter days.

I would quite like one of these too. Damn rapha and it's addictive properties.
The belgian hat is wayyyy too hot, but my bonce does get pretty cold in just a cap. However, I do like having a peak to shield my face from all the sun we get in the english winter.

Imperial Works Club Jersey seems to be available to anyone on the website at the moment. Could be a mistake but they seem to be shifting fast!

Nice. It could have been embarrassing if you'd said grey (i.e., the only one i don't like)
