Have to say that the Rapha Gilet and Race Cape are both beautiful and fantastic bits of kit.
Took the Gilet and the Race Cape on a sneaky wet and windy ride this morning both preformed incredibly.

Just accidently bought a pro team jersey.
I can just about get into a classic cut large (I have a selfie somewhere. But you can see my nips, so its a pay per veiw pic), So in theory a XL proteam should be spot on.

Dont you cover your nips with your bib straps?

Where can you try it on mate? The Rapha store? Might need to head there soon...

Bought the cheapest on ebay. Used with marks. Figured I could sell it on. Im many hundred miles from a rapha store.

Gloves are here, very nicely made, however I suspect that XL will be borderline, however they don't make an XXL which I suspect that I need.

I guess you know this. But small gloves will insulate poorly.
Through a mixture of EBay, and considerate forum members I have secured key bits of Rapha gear I wanted.
Pro team jersey
Pro team thermal bibs
Wind jacketGoing to grab merino arm/knee warmers, and I'm done.
Being too poor to eat will also help with the suffering cyclist look too.

I take it you wuv a bit of wapha?

This is why I am concerned about fit- I used to like snug fitting gloves, but have gone from a large Medium to XXXL in winter gloves in order to allow the insulation to work/not form a thermal bridge through the fabric by compressing the insulation.
Anyway- wore the gloves (no liners) this morning and thay fit very well- and bloody hell they are warm, far too warn for todays 16 degrees.

I hope so.
Never used it before.
In for a penny, in for (a lot) of pounds.

You'll love it. I've been using mine on every ride in the summer and during a week in Mallorca. It's the best jersey I've ever owned. Makes you feel fast.
Also, I'm somewhere in between a small and XS in normal Rapha jerseys so the PT small fits perfectly.

This is what makes pogies such a dream. I struggle to find a nice fitting winter glove. But now I can just wear full finger track gloves.
Its below zero over night already here. :(

In desire to be comfortable this winter have succumbed to some Rapha. Bought base layer pack, looking at pro team thermal bib shorts. Will be interested to know if you think they are worth the outlay SF?
Was looking at gloves, overshoes and leg wamers as well, but went elsewhere for half the price.

I bought some thermal DHB bibs a while back on a whim. I use them all the bloody time. I hope the Rapha version will be as versitile, just nicer.
Plus points re: thermal bibs.
- You can add either knee warmers or lag warmers so they cover 3 temp ranges.
- Adding separate knee and leg warmers allows you to dial in the length (tights are often too long or too short).
- Much easier to add/remove warmers when temps change mid ride.
- I actually use mine without warmers a lot. If its not super warm. They work as summer bibs for me.
I going to be in inch thick woolen baselayers, a softshell, and hardcore Amfib tights for winter. Not sure Rapha could help me there.

Were these the winter gloves or the deep winter gloves?

Ive been meaning to pull the trigger on this all summer but was always spending money elsewhere....wont really use it in the winter months so will probably buy it if and when a sale comes around in time for next season.
I am a M in normal jerseys, not overly tight, should a M in the PT be fine?

Will you be using your Rapha bibs for commuting?

My commute is only 2km. That would be a bit overkill.
I only change into bike gear when winter sets in.

The 'old gold' hooded top is a bit ...mustard. But they've finally done one in black! Are the zips ok with them yet?

Berlin. Cool!
My deep winter bundle arrived this morning. Size S. Feels lush and want to use on the commute this evening, but will wait til the morning as that's currently the coldest part of my ride.
I bought the winter hat too. Hmm. A little too big for my titch head but I love it already, so will try on again when I get home then decide whether to return it or not.
