Collaboration or not 300 notes?..an ex military parachute costs £40 (roughly 10m diameter), I wonder how many jackets one parachute makes.
LOLZ. If only everything was this simplistic?
How much aluminium is in an Audi R8? £2430 worth.
I'll have two.

Well. I will be soon checking out of Raphadom. A final parting shot across the bow of the grand tour shoes when they update them (with replaceable heel pads) and I'm off. All the clothes look like they belong at Kathmandu now. It's been good.
Might be back to replace gloves when they go.

She introduced me to some french music and I introduced her to the Pixies, she introduced me to snogging and I introduced her to premature ejaculation. Seemed like a fair exchange at the time. Looking back it's no surprise we didn't have the longest of flings.
Are there any teenage boys who dont premature ejaculate?

Wow, guess you totally found them out, huh? I'm sure the design, materials research, sourcing, prototyping, testing, printing, manufacture*, branding, packaging, distribution, and promotion are all completely free, their premises, staff and equipment are free, their returns and repairs service doesn't cost them anything to run and retailers definitely don't add 100-300% markup.
In the real world, £300 is pish all for that jacket.

I reckon it's a fair reflection of what it costs to make. Do you not? If a similar item were mass-manufactured in China, the price would, of course, be a joke. Add the hours of work involved up at a decent UK wage, I'd be surprised if they're making much money on 600 pieces, even if they sell them all.
The clothing prices that people ought to have a problem with is stuff that's made very cheaply on a large scale in China/Vietnam/Turkey/Romania and sold for a lot of money, like £100 Nikes. Not this. You're paying for a small bespoke manufacturing run and the design. If you don't like the design, that's cool, but hate on the design, not the price.

If only there was a thread where we discussed the fact that Rapha puts an enormous premium on their products, but that it was* nice. If a little pricey.

Based on a Fred Perry tennis dress, but just a fraction longer with a lower rear and a heavier hem so that it hangs well in the breeze of riding.
