Sorry, correction, the spoke length is 291.9 front and 292.5 rear. (I've used the last set in the search results, which is almost identical to RPM's measurements).
I think you could use 292mm for both.

to the OP, I am not convinced radial is a good idea with those hubs...
why do you think radial with those hubs is a bad idea?

Anyone know the spoke length for Halo Aero track rim 3x to on-one hub 32 H? Dont want to have to wait for the hub and rim and then for the spokes!!!
Cheers

large or small flange?

** Spoke length **
- Hub: On-one 120mm Double Fixed, rear
- Rim: Halo Aerorage
- Number of spokes: 32
- Crosses: 3
- Spoke length left: 284.5
- Spoke length right: 284.5

you might want to double check, its easy to use
- Hub: On-one 120mm Double Fixed, rear

Yeah I tried that but the rim I'm using is the aero track which has a 27mm profile, whereas the aerorage doesn't come separately (I think) and has a 25mm profile, so got a bit confuddled, anyone know better?

just found out the erd of the aero track is 588 and the areo rage is 585, so managed to re calc it from there nice one....

Could anyone with any experience or know-how please confirm that I have the following spoke lengths correct please before I order them? I have come to this using the DT spoke calculator and a second opinion would be much appreciated.
Hubs: Campagnolo Centaur/Veloce (2008ish), 100mm front, 130mm 10-speed rear, 36h
Rims: Mavic Open Pro, 700c, 36h
Lacing: 3-crossI reckon it comes to-
front: 294mm left and right
rear: 291mm driveside + 293mm non-drivesideThank you

I have no idea super 'p' as I get all my wheels built by Randoboutique but I really appreciate you starting a decent thread about bicycles - I always thought spokes were all the same length

According to ehren_fried_chicken, you get.
front: 294.1mm left and right
rear: 291.4mm driveside + 293.2mm non-drivesideSo yes you were correct.
Personaly I round down, so I'd go for:
front: 294mm left and right
rear: 291mm driveside + 293mm non-driveside -

So yes you were correct. Most spokes come in sizes separated by 2mm.

separated by 2mm?
since when? -

the dt swiss calculator is where it's at

cause I can't be bothered, what do I need for Goldtechs into a B43?

Mega, thanks a lot all... just the reassurance I was after. A lot of places are funny about exchanging spokes so wanted to get it right. I bought eighty DT Competition double-butted from Parker International for £11 per 20 which seemed quite reasonable. They have loads of sizes at 1mm increments and DT brass nipples are included.

scrapper: 268 32 holes
264 36 holes
3x
maybe 1mm or 2mm shorter but those are fine

separated by 2mm?
since when?OK, had a look.
DT Comps are availible all over the place in 1mm increments, doh! Most high end spokes are only availible in 2mm increments though. DT revolution, Sapim Lazer etc. (interestingly DT in even lengths, and Sapim in odd. Fasinating stuff). These are the spokes I've been mostly shopping around for recently.
Will edit my original post :)

Well it appears that was'nt entirely true I'm afraid.
Here a replacement from Sheldon :)
*The diameter of spokes is sometimes expressed in terms of wire gauges. There are several different national systems of gauge sizes, and this has been a great cause of confusion. A particular problem is that *French* gauge numbers are smaller for thinner wires*, while the U.S./British gauge numbers get larger for thinner wires*. The crossover point is right in the popular range of sizes used for bicycle spokes.
(*seems logical)

Thanks for that I actually worked it out myself afterwards but great to know i had it correct.

I've written an article on spokes if you're interested. It might clear a few things up for you. As for spoke calculations, I generally avoid DT's site. For some reason I never get good results from it. I use the DT spoke chart which is flawless but does cost money - weird that they can get the chart right but not the program. I think Sheldon Brown has a working calculator though.
Incidentally sapim race spokes are the equivalent to dt comp and they are available in even not odd lengths. You don't really need 1mm increments but if you are going to be off by 1mm, try and go over, not under.
My article can be found here:

right going to build some wheels up over Christmas can some sensible forumgers confirm if i've got these calculations correct.
On-one 32 double fixed hubs
Mavic Open Pro RimsFront Radial Spoke length 272.9mm (i guess i'm ok with up to about 271mm ?)
Rear 3x Spoke Length 294.5 (ideally 294mm?)haven't decided on which spokes to use yet but probably aci double butted from cycle basket for the rear and i'll see if they can get the correct size for the front as they dont seem to have them in stock at the moment.

Ed, the rear is 292
and don't do radial ...
i don't know where that 298mm came from. when i put it into the calculator again i got 294mm too.
so i'm going to have to get two spoke lengths then... damn
