I never knew 'man-bun' was its name.
Don't insure it. Kill it with flaming scissors. -

I need to trim my beard
Just don't. I trimmed my beard short recently and discovered a second chin had been growing underneath.

Go to a old school barber near a Turkish or Arab area. They'll probably do a better job for very little.
There are thousands around Finsbury Park tube for example.
-
• #339
I'm only going to trim it back to 3 or 4 inches.

My beard is getting out of control - I look rather like Captain Haddock.
Where, in or near W1, can I get it trimmed tomorrow at lunch?

Geo F Trumper. For the experience mind...

I was joking. Way to go with that beard.

How much £$£$£?
-
• #344
Very experience, much dollar etc.
-
• #345
Well, I might reserve that for when I am feeling particularly money.
In the interim, would anyone have another suggestion that might be less than the price of a new car (say)?
-
• #346
It isn't actually that expensive in all honesty.
There's a place along from Rapha called Murdock IIRC.

I once went to Trumper's with a full beard and long hair and asked them to make me look like the man you would least like to introduce to your sister. I left with a Hitleresque short back and sides with lashings of pomade and a pencil moustache.
csb etc etc

• #348
At least they didn't simply hand you a bill.
-
• #349
I asked my barber if they'd make me look like Don Draper.
Got Hitler.
Is growing a man part of being a beard?
