Some very very comfy 28h f/r White Industries H2/G3 x A23s. Don't get me wrong, it's basically the most comfy road bike I've ever ridden, just less forgiving than a cotton casing, is all

Any first hand experience with WTB Byway 700x40/44c on here?

I've got some 28 Turbo Cottons but want some 26s (on 21 internal rims) for summer crits

I've got 44c on my Tripster. Not ridden them a massive amount but so far so good. Only slight issue was a pinhole in the sidewall that wouldn't seal but they sent me a replacement immediately

WTB Byway 34c vs Expanse 32c
Which to choose for 90% road?

Expanse will be better on road, Byways off.

road tubeless is a hoax

I'll tell the girlfriend that you said that when she's standing by the side of the road in the rain with a puncture and I have to ride an hour over to her to fix it because she won't get her hands dirty.

There's clearly a balance to be struck between puncture resistance and Road Feel
-
• #7940
It's ok with fat tires, it's the high pressure on the racey ones that ruins it. I've yet to put a tube in the gravel thing, but I gave up on the race bike, it will blow out sealant and even plugs at any normal riding pressure.

Did you run the latest version? I saw very positive reviews of older Supremes, my Equilibrium clears 32c so could go for those but I am worried by latest reviews of G-Ones in bicycle rolling resistance, it looks like changing to Addix compound screwed something up.

SPECIALIZED ROUBAIX PRO 2BLISS
Anyone used? Are they alright?
-
• #7947
Gotta love PX - don't even state whether they're folding or wire bead!
-
• #7948
They're folding according to the title but the picture isn't the Mezcal III, they've spelt Mezcal wrong and the ERTRO is different to the stated size. Classic PX!

I bought those very ones, the 2.25 width.
They've got tubeless pressure on the side, see photo.
If you're interested in a pair, I did one ride on them before switching back to trail bosses (as they're 2.8s).

Yep, fine tyres, just sold a pair.
Yeah I can totally agree with that. I guess comfort also depends on your wheels to an extent too, what are you using ?
