Thanks to those with genuine replies.
The rest of you are brilliant. Seriously.
I hadn’t searched for tyres before but now I have.
I see that hundreds of people are selling second hand tyres; or looking for good tyres for skidding; or looking for good tyres for polo.
Brilliant. That seems to match exactly with what I want. I’m surprised that when I searched before, I didn’t notice.I also apologise for not realising what a crime it is to ask about things like this on a bike forum as a newbie. I now realize that unless you know everything about bikes, you should not post anywhere on this forum.
Cheers for the insight.

Hi, I'm new. What are the best tyres for a pram?
-
• #261
Are tyres really necessary? Surely rims are better for skidding (with cool sparks!), and are more puncture resistant?
I've got black & white tyres, but it's more of a political statement than an aesthetic choice.

Use the motherfucking search
-
• #263
ha ha, great tyre thread. we need more of these.
-
• #264
Yep.. I never get tired of these..
-
• #265
Just some pink ones they skid better and never puncture...
but these are better;
Maxxis Re-Fuse, Vittoria Randonneur, Bontrager Hard-Case (for a cheaper option)
Seriously, the search is your friend.

Alright...I deserverved that.
Thanks for the genuine replies though.

pump the things up to a proper pressure once in a while too
-
• #268
The shitty stock tyres that come on the Fuji recommend a maximum pressure of 90psi. I've been pushing them up a bit beyond that though.

titanium rims are better as they give off more sparks :)

The best tires price wise are the ones you get for free.... :) You don't need to be diggin' very deep in piles of shitbikes to find unworn Schwale Marathon Plus'es.. But i guess that's not the kind of tire you are looking for.
