that 15% tyre drop chart gives me 55psi on the front... that seems recklessly low.

Tend to be 23mm give or take.

@Sumo any tyres will be better than on 13-15mm internal (even 23mm), but 25mm is the optimised sized that usually stretch to 27-28mm.

Unless you're a fattie and ride on 23mm, not really.

If you think it's too low, start at 10psi more (65psi), as going from jarring as feck will feel awkward the first time.

Just don't throw it into a corner first time at that low pressure. The handling will be vastly different.

Fwiw, I dont buy into the ultra low pressure. I run 25mm open pave on a wide rim, 85-90psi rear and about 75 or 80 front. I weigh 72kg. Any lower and the bike feels squirmy. Still comfy ride too.

good advice, I run 80 rear 75 front and have always found it acceptably comfortable. I'll drop the pressure for a run around town, rather than serious riding, and see how it feels...

If you're commuting on that pressure, it'll feel pretty squirmy when you're riding slower than usual.
