no, it's a cheap no name job so gratis dude. just show up for a G

    you coming west too ray?

i don't think he is hanging long. at the moment i am toying with coming west cos otherwise, for me at least, there will be no 'ride' part of the Guinness Ride. but then it's all about the G. i hope you will have one tonight murtle

  • @ray, your on buddy

    @jonny, you too

  • Despite rabid swine aids...I might pop by the Toucan for a quick pint.

  • First G is at The Toucan... guessing 6.30 - 7.30 ?
Aleksi, what's the plan after this ?
Need to post up a proposed route of the other establishments so people who can't make the whole night will know roughly when and where we'll be.

  • Not going to be able to make this now. Hopefully see some you peeps at the rollers tomorrow.

  • Some of us are starting from the Royal Oak, Kennington Lane for the actual toast at 17:59. All welcome to join us. Shows up on Google with a handy map, detailing the lines of the Vauxhall one way system.

The plan is then to ride in a very sedate, calm and Highway Code sort of way to the Toucan, to be crowned "King of the G's" by the assembled adoring masses, having beaten the other three points of the London compass, to the Toucan.

However, that is the plan at 1300 hours, before any gargle, input from our master Alexski, and the joys of rush hour traffic.

As the Dr. Pepper advert says, "relax, whats the worst that could happen....?"

    (gulp)

  • i'll be languishing in the toucan with the soho crew by 6.30pm.

looking forward to a couple of guinnies, it's been a while and the weather is perfect.

  • In that case I may just do the same, looks like there's no one coming from out Wests.

I am seriously considering swinging by the Toucan for a pint or two of the black stuff before heading westwards...is this acceptable? ;-)

  • I will be at the oak from 1530ish. Number in the numbers thread.

From the toucan we can go auld shillelagh or oneills?

  • BF, way more than acceptable dude. see you down there dude

    Certainly sir!

  • BOUT YE!

  • Here's some more typical Belfast phrases for you to master:

Get practising, there'll be a test at Wests.

  • ahem, no cola on the guinness thread - or is that taking it a bit too seriously

And something that definitely belongs on this thread:

Also, Phil Lynots response to "How does it feel to be black and Irish?", "Like a pint of Guinness"

  • Just 1?! That's crazy talk!

  • oops sorry, wrong thread

  • ^ Heresy! And, erm, what time will people be at the Toucan from? ...don't flame me for not wanting to trawl the thread for the answer...I'm a busy man!

  • am gonna get there just before six. like one minute before. i think you can work out why.

  • I was planning on being there for 1759, though with the cruiser i'm gonna be 250 years late.
