For what it's worth, I've bought plenty of stuff of these guys and it has all been good and delivered quickly without problems.
Can't understand why you'd start an internet vendetta against an independent business for the sake of a tenner! Sorry if that sounds harsh.

I don't think it's vendictive at all. There is clearly a problem with the quality of your cotton jerseys and it needs addressing.

At the end of the day, this guy is a cock, so you aren't gonna get your money back directly - don't waste your time arguing with him. Just follow the PayPal dispute system, write your replies truthfully but sternly and then PayPal will decide if you get your money back. PayPal dispute does work.
