climbing outing !
I'm sooo in. As long as i'm in London at that time. -

Thank you all for such an amazing 1st ride. Especially Clefty, Miss Socks (the route was great) and any one who stopped traffic.
Kat I hope the penny gets fixed quickly (I'm desperate to have a go if I can!)
Please can we organise another ride before the end of the summer so I can build up a bit more confidence and chat more to more people! Maybe a fractionally faster pace for the next one?
Can mastershredders girlfriend get on the forum also!

Awesome. Will definitely make the next one.
(If people fancied a slightly longer route we could do a ride to Rainham Marshes maybe? It's about 15 miles each way I think. And looks like this
) -
• #337
I wouldn't fancy riding that on a fixed? Maybe a penny farthing though. ;p
-
• #338
That bit is for drinking beer next to, after having ridden there. And possibly jumping in.

Rainham Marshes sounds good to me, maybe we could finish at Victoria Park?

That'd be good (especially cos I live there :D )
I think Southwark Cyclists do a low traffic route there quite often, I can do some investigating if people like the idea.

Sounds like a go-er Bendix, lets do it! (even if it is East London :-p ) The ride to Richmond park was just over 10 miles from Buck House, and about 8 back to the pub, so 15 each way would be perfick
There is also a great ride from Ham to Weybridge, going past Hampton Court and Teddington Lock along the towpath which is about 20 miles each way for an even longer one in the future.

Cool, I'll email Barry Mason.
I really want to jump in that river thing.
-
• #344
We all wanted to jump in the Richmond Park ponds yesterday it was so warm.
We had to settle with being told off by parks police for cycling down, what appeared to be a cycle track. -

Hello, Thanks for a great day out.
I'm definitely up for more rides, the ride to Rainham Marshes sounds nice especially with an east start..
See you all soon hopefully.
