  • Halfpipe bike shop on Golborne road has the Shimano track lockring/chainwhip tool you need.

  • You'd be going for a much larger frame, so on the one hand no, but that frame is very heavily aero profiled, so a conventional frame might well be lighter.

For £175 you have some options.

Heavily aero profiled doesn't necessarily mean heavy...

  • It is if you fill it with water.

  • Any one have any advice on set up to maximise speed without ruining acceleration?

    Buy a road bike

  • already asked her, shes got an aptitude problem...

    fixed

  • do you use clips or a front brake?

The lack of responses says no to both. Coming to an A&E ward near you soon....

  • I doubt it, unless he removed the brake from the bike.

  • sorry for slow reply guys been out seeing the sun etc etc....

Went to portobelo road bike workshop today to get the rear sproket tightened and the lockring changed... Aparently the lockring threading was worn down so wasnt staying tight...

So looks like problem is fixed now with the rear sproket...

as i am new to this i have left the rear brake on and i am using shimano spds so now safe as possible!!!

  • make sure you aren't using multi release cleats with your shimano spd's

  • make sure you aren't using multi release cleats with your shimano spd's

they are the spds which are like blocks, not the racing ones... and the cleats are the mid sole ones that clip in flat in the middle... what are multi release and should i be using them?
