  • Can you suggest where to find Langster?
    I'm not from UK.
Or any other fixed gear frame with compact geo?

  • It would help massively by letting us know precisely what part of the UK you're not from.

  • Picked up this NOS frameset from Ebay for £80.
I want a langster and this is going to be my bitch.

    Bargain, but not NOS

  • NOS as a term is pretty widely debased now, ban NOS!

  • Bargain, but not NOS

    ?

Surely if it's discontinued and is in "as new" condition, it's NOS.

  • "as new", is not NOS.

  • I meant literally as new, as opposed to the second hand hardly marked "as new".

If the thing hasn't been used, and is discontinued, surely it's NOS.

  • I quite like the Brown Langster now- it's vintage, innit.

  • If the thing hasn't been used, and is discontinued, surely it's NOS.

Dropout, short stem and bottom bracket show sight of use, so not a New Old Stock.

  • It's NOS in the sense that it's unused.
The marks on the dropouts and BB are because it was an ex-display bike.

  • I'd love to have one again. Though i'd have to get rid of one of my current bikes to free up some space for it. Not looking likely.

  • Wut? Every time you see my Langster you take the piss

  • It's just instinct, I remember the days where I was mentally tortured for turning up to drinks on a poo-brown Langster. After that it was my cross-top fitted Langster that I had de-stickered to make it less noticable, but they still noticed...

Now I can't help but insult Langster owners, but it's just because I miss being one myself!

I'm off to write some poetry, cry in a corner and listen to My Chemical Romance...

  • Give me a hug

  • Over a candle lit table at Bodeans?

  • Coming along fine. DP18 Rims, Veloce Crank and Caliper, Dirty Harry Lever and some crappy bars I need to change out sooner rather than later.

  • Oh and yes, the Chainring needs to be Black and 44T.

  • Can you fit a 44t on it? BCD look rather massive...

  • Ah a road crank.

    Changing cog would be cheaper.

  • I want a black chainring though, I don't like the look of it in silver.

I want one of these but can't see how the hell you order one.
I was told they were great and about £15 shipped.

  • It's just instinct, I remember the days where I was mentally tortured for turning up to drinks on a poo-brown Langster. ..

I'm using this as my excuse for not going to drinks, even though Easts is within walking distance. Your (my) brown Langster is still going strong, I would have another without a second thought.

  • My Langster post weekend clean.

Not brakeless, it's just off for cleaning.

  • ^ Black/silver/black/silver/...
