have been reading a few other threads and beginning to feel a bit like it's not going to be worth my time and effort to take it any further. Despite the 'hit and run while on the mobile phone' bit of the story, I've realised the police only got me to fill in a traffic incident form.

In fact, reflecting on it now, it was no accident - the fucker was deliberately trying to intimidate me, and went so far that he hit me.

I've done the calling 999, limping down to the police station and filling in a 20-page report bit - is there any other reporting to be done? I'm amazed at the restraint people on here show after an accident, i'm a very non-violent/aggressive person but i really don't know how i'd react towards the driver, especially in a case where they've deliberately harmed/intimidated me. Had a near miss(his fault) on kingsland a couple of nights ago, swore at the cunt and he prompted accelerated past me, swerved in front and jammed on the handbrake, were it not for the fact i was turning left into a side road anyway i def would have hit him.
I'm pretty sure that had an accident occured, damaging my bike i would have probably thrown the bike thru his window/burnt the car in the street etc, counterproductive i know and brings me down to their level but damn. Still, i've never had an off so i couldn't possibly comment on how i'd actually feel after the fact.
