• bloody DJ's, not once did they play any Black Lace, not once I tells ya - how do you expect people to start dancing if you don't put any Black Lace on - sheesh…

  • Tika, your little-un is just soooo cute!
Sounds like I missed a great night.

  • Sounds shit, glad I stayed at home! ;-)

  • i'm glad you stayed at home too.

  • great photos rob!!

  • What about upstairs at the sun&doves?

Would have to kick the tenants and all their furniture out :p

The sound system just isn't reliable enough if it was done in the main bar and we'd have the same situation as Bar Story; DJ inside and Bright Times peeps outside.

    +1 Quality snaps!

Sorry, didn't mean the sun & doves.. I meant the Prince Regent

  • Prince Regent's a restaurant now, be lucky to get them to stick an ipod up there, let a lone a decent soundsystem

  • I reckon Plastic People, Curtain Rd

  • If you're talking about the prince regent in herne hill, then you've got my +1 (because I am a selfisk local cunt)

I don't want to wade into the chat about the music (which I enjoyed). But I do want to say that i had bright times, even though I didn't get there till gone 10.

    Thanks all.

  • maybee could get it more central, a lot of more people might have went, it's about 20 miles from my house,on bike and a right pain on the tube. i was gonna bring the other half.

glad most had a good time tho.

(and for what it's worth, if i'm chatting to someone, and a great track comes on.........see ya later)

  • This is a lovely little place with a decent enough soundsystem

There were decks upstairs at Herne Hill Prince Regent for the souths xmas meal and the rollapaluza winter league too..

  • i did say "more central"

They're both in zone 1 and more central than Peckham! Plus they're both on hipster territory or would you rather did a gig in Acton?

  • too many cocktails

  • queen of hoxton is full of cityboys that tie their ties around their heads apres work

the gramophone is expensive to rent otherwise +1 to what pisti said

the legion on old st is pretty good but there is no outside or much parking apart from on the streets

catch has a pretty bad system but they could do a nice deal but again no parking

  • pics look well bright. but then monochrome. But really fockin bright. Sorry to miss it, had heavy shit to take care of.

  • queen of hoxton is full of cityboys that tie their ties around their heads apres work

Only during the week - Not at weekends. Same could be said for Lightbar round the corner on Shoreditch High St - wank during the week but ace at weekends, totally different crowd

the gramophone is expensive to rent otherwise +1 to what pisti said

They rent now do they? Shame, I was gonna do a night there about a year ago and it was free :-(

    The search continues....

  • I'm gonna follow up with Plastic People - best soundsystem in London! :-)
