2009-06-27 Sat Midnight - Overnight to Brighton

Have to go and check out getting my light fixed. Status pending, although Purple_mj has lent me a light, I don't know when he needs it back..

The ride is in more than a month's time, Guy. ;)

I was expecting to have it sent away to be fixed. Which could have (maybe) taken a while. The shop is just getting me a new one this afternoon, though. So problem solved..

You can leave your light geared, too, you know. We're not that strict on this ride. ;)

Are people sticking around in Brighton for the day or what? I used to live in Brighton and am planning to stay for a day or two to do a bit of filming at my friends club so was wondering if there was going to be a cycle back at some point or if it's trainsville..

ATTENTION: The slow maths ride is going to have to be moved as I will be in Munich.
Unless someone else wants to take over ther organising of it?

@plagiarist - i vote for you to do the slow maths geek ride on another day, as i wanna do both (but not in the same day)

If the weather holds out I'd be well up for the rest of the day on the beach with a cold one in hand, train back later in the day. 60 odd miles will be enough for me so I won't be riding back to london. If the weather is crap then a suitable boozer could be the best option perhaps, of course when they open that is. Anyone know a good breakfast joint /cafe?

Previously, we've tended to go back by train pretty quickly. As I'll need a longer ride, I'll probably aim to ride back. But a bit of a break is probably in order, and taking swimming equipment would be a good idea if the weather is nice--we will be there so early that we could probably go swimming and leave again before the beach really fills up.
