Coldplay were pretty good I thought. Looking fwd to TV on the Radio and Paul Simon oldies set later. Paolo Nutini my fave so far - is that a crime? Gonna boycott Beyonce in favour of Queens of the Stone Age I reckon. It's so flipping hot here now - the combination of sweat, sun cream, caked on mud is resulting in some special aromas. Am going to need several hose downs tomorrow.

Primal Scream 2003 - Friday - rest of the weekend's bands - fucking pointless, they'd done it

Not watched a lot of this to be honest. Watched a bit of glasvegas on iPlayer - not impressed.
What puts me off the most though is the diabolical hosting from mark radcliffe with his twatty beard and nothing to say and jo wiley fawning over just how emotional everyones performances are. Tossers.
Guess you have to be there blah blah

"We're told it is a suicide situation," Eavis said.No shit beardy, even the stuff I saw on iPlayer made me feel like ending it.
I can't believe people are paying to see such mediocre bands. Someone tell me the point of "friendly fires" ?
-
• #234
Right.
I agreed with you up to the point you mentioned Friendly Fires.
-
• #235
They're shitter than shit.
-
• #236
Are they the ones with the front-man who dances like I imagine I do, while caterwauling about wanting to live in Paris?
-
• #237
Something like that.
Looked like he was on drugs. The kind of drugs that make you think everything you're doing is awesome.Shame they only had enough for themselves and Ordinata

I wish Jo Whiley would stop acting like a precious 15 year old.

Jo Whiley has always been the most grovelling, obsequious individual

Right.
I agreed with you up to the point you mentioned Friendly Fires.

People that like Coldplay aren't really into music
It's like chatting to some tit in the pub and they're not really into football but at a push they'd say they follow Utd as it's a safe path to follow

ladeezangennulmun, it's time to reach for the lasers, here's Coldplay!!!
What the hell did I just watch? Jay Z was singing along too??
I saw Primal Scream in 05 or 07, Gillespie was blitzed and was thrown off stage for insulting the crowd who'd turned up in anticipation of seeing Basement Jaxx, who replaced Kylie late notice.
They played six or seven songs I think, and were fucking ace. Would love to see them again.
