  • whats the bike count rhb? is that a little folder tucked away?

  • massive bench vice ftw, not mine btw, but my dad has one he got out a skip!

  • fucking hell. some lovely spaces on this thread - brian if there was a workshop porn thread yours would be in there.

    My section of the basement:

  • slack chain!

  • yep. its not even on the front ring properly. typical.

6 of 8 there, yes that's the company car folded up there.

Got an old oak dropleaf table to hack about a bit and stick my bench vice on for my workbench still.

Anyone know where to get peg-board for tool hanging?

    SCREWFIX direct ?

  • SCREWFIX direct ?

emailed - nowt obvious via their search. B&Q were useless too. Might be best to go local hardware shop.

  • Their catalogue is better you might have to search the interwebz.

its probable that a builders merchant like jewsons or travis perkins which carries a huge variety of boards would be your best bet by far i think

  • Nice one, ta - I'll use the Bank Hols to pay 'em a visit. Just remembered we've a Cromwells in Cov, they might just do it.

  • I'm feeling the revival love at the moment...
Bikes on the Left, Wheels/ Drums at the back, Skis/ Guitars on the left, 'Workshop' in the middle.
So much to do in there, a lot of space on the walls for shelves, vices, etc.
    going to go all out.

  • shitty iphone merge pic

thats a raliegh twenty on the wall waiting for a full modern rebuild.

  • That's some great storage right there!

  • nice bit of deWaltage.................:o)

I'll have to try to get a shot of my cave

  • ..

  • Ok, I clearly need to put some bikes in mine.

I'll hang some from the ceiling and take pictures tomorrow

  • I've just spend 2 months doing the shed up.

brought the shed, painted all the panel before installing it, then painted the inside completely white.

    made a huge difference;

p.s. that's paint on the floor, not bird dropping.

  • what about painting the floor a grey with some of that hard wearing floor paint?

  • ^^How does your shed fare in the wet?

My shed's got no leaks as such, but it tends to soak up ambient moisture. S'often pretty damp, even after minimal rain.

    Big bucket of silica gel?

  • Ghetto HRV system?

  • What does it sit on?

If you lift it upon to some bricks so the air can circulate it should stay much drier. If got a load of creosote too if you want to give your shed a coat and stop the moisture coming in through the walls. Oak coloured, lemme know.
