  • I'm getting major shed envy.

There are few things I get really envious over, even bikes I'm never that envious over but sheds / work spaces, it really brings out that evil green eyed monster in me. Bad bad bad.

  • Yeah - I want a workbench with one of those old fashioned vices...

  • I'll have to get a picture of my dungeon / 'workshop / storeroom.

Most actual work need to take place outside (or kitchen when the mrs is out) due to space constraints. But I do have:

    a) a long wooden frame (homemade) with different sized holes drilled in the top for rows of tools in size order and hooks along the front for hanging tools.

    b) jam jars full of assorted nails / screws / bits

    c) gritty orange stuff and swarfega.

    d) workbench made from an old door.

    e) beer fridge.

    I'm very happy there.

  • Bolt croppers eh jaygee... 2 pairs no less... veerrryy suspicious

  • my workshop

    or front room

Nice skis - Line Blends. Picking up some Chronics soon...

Yeah, erm... I keep losing my keys.

    Chronics are awesome.

these are replacements for some Rossignols I broke, fixed and sold.
probably the best skis I've ridden. they are fucking so poppy its unreal, and weigh like 10kg.

    I like Line, nice company.
I hope you are going to ski bartlett (unless you can persuade purple tom on here to give a discount at that place in Covent Garden) cos they are the nicest people ever, well worth the trek of a ride to Fuxbridge.

Mmm yeah need to give bartletts a call to see if we can work something out, ellis brigham are doing chronics and dynastar px 12s for around £330, but thinking about different bindings...maybe marker griffons, are they on your blends?

  • oh wait, no, that was in a dream

Haha, no smoking in my bike shed!

    yes marker griffons, definitely reccommended.
When I went to SB they made an initial mistake on the pricing (current blends for last years blends, i pointed it out, and they charged me the first price quoted.
    nice guys.
Ellis Brigham always seem a bit soulless to me.

  • I really must tidy up.

  • brrrrrrr ching ching ching bang bang krrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrat

  • New shed on its way 10x8. Wife getting annoyed with bikes and tools in the Utility room. One shed already has 3 bikes plus a tag along, other shed has one bike, two frames, tools and gardening things and a great big hole in the roof. Pics when it arrives.

    very very envious....

  • cries just a little bit
but he's got a toolbox on wheels and a girly calendar on the wall…
    cries just a little bit

  • ^ not fair

  • ^ not fair

true. to be fair. that's my dad's calendar :D

  • Total shed / workspace envy appreciation. A bike is a personal thing so one man's lush is another man's lame. But having your work room all nice with a couple of projects... oooh.

Give me a work bench and a vice and I will be a happy man. The bike count is now up to five. The girlf is a photographer so gets the spare room as an office - I get any extra room for bicycles.

The dream is that plyed wall with hooks and outlines for all the tools - and one day I'll graduate to a rolling toolbox with wheels.

    It's important to dream!

  • My workshop when it was all fresh and new. Far more "lived in" now. Bike bits are slowly starting to take over too....

  • ^ holy shit i want your workshop, that must of cost so much!

  • I want a big fnckoff shed with tools and a vice and shit. +100 man points.
