Sack off your office party and join VIVID on Saturday 18th December, 8.30pm - late for a Christmas knees up to mark the close of its 2010 programme.

Nightmare Before Christmas will play host to a warped line up of winter horror, creepy electronica and spectral pop with DJ sets from COLOUR, Lärmlicht, Dan Le Trap and John Napier.

The party closes VIVID's LANGUAGE season which includes work and performance by artist Aura Satz (http://www.iamanagram.com/index1.html) on Thursday 16 December. Satz's work explores ghostly presence and illusions through performance and sound and is often focussed on unusual sonic devices, early musical instruments and automata.

I got left to implement this at work. Basically, you take a GPS for 48hrs and it records your movements and translates them into an image which will hopefully be shown in the gallery. People haven't been too receptive to the idea of walking and have been taking them on public transport because they are god damn lazy so I put forward that taking mine on my bike was still a journey made by foot (sort of)...anyway it'd be interesting to see how they come out, especially people like void/hyper/dlb so if you want to take part give me a shout.

I heard this band ahab live on the radio last night and they were amazing. They're playing in Kings Heath at the Hare and Hounds on wednesday (about 9:30) tickets are 6 quid online, more on the door. Anyone wanna go to the gig with me?

Gigs at the hare and hounds are so pants. Theyve been getting some decent bands to play but there just isnt enough crowd to make it work, plus the promoters stick on really awful local support acts and overcharge to make up for the lack of crowd.

I've seen gigs all over everywhere and the Hare & Hounds is a fine venue if you get the right band, did you go to Grails there last year? It was awesome.
