Three nice looking fixed bikes just after 18:00 this evening by the Martyrs Memorial on St Giles, I was headed back with a new chain for my new machine (soon to appear in the bike tag thread)

I was wondering when the tag thread was going to be picked up again .. it's been quiet all summer.

I keep meaning to get it, but I'm moving out of Oxford today so things have been a bit hectic the last couple of weeks.

Hey guys, I'm putting together a cheap beater for uni since I sold my bike when I was home over the summer. Does anybody have a cheap (up to~£30) rear wheel they want to sell me? Preferably 700c fixed but failing that a 5 speed would be good too. Thanks!

Not really an Oxford event but some Reading types are planning a ride/other shenanigans around Reading on the 22nd at 14:00 meeting at milk bar. I'll be there would be good to see some faces. I doubt it'll be a serious ride so bring a lock, lights and some warm clothes.

Spotted Joepablo on Wallingford bridge this evening, I was the one who shouted "Do a Skid!" as I drove past.

hi Booga, wondered what was going on... DASing on a SS would have been hard though!

Love that someone got DASed in Wallingford, I haven't been DASed for ages god damnit.

I DASed someone riding fixed with a messenger bag and forum cap on the B480 near Chiselhampton Hill this summer. I just got an odd look and have since become disillusioned by the whole process... Haven't shouted DAS since.
Maybe it's because I was riding gears?
