• #7831

If you use the proper brake pads and clean your bike than it should be fine.

LOLZZZZZZZZZZZZ

I have a pair of the old exalith coated open pros and that doesn't wear off. they also last for fucking ever. it can however chip off but not through braking
-
• #7836
I will wear it off.

• #7837
Chuck Norris tried to race me once, I now use him for brake pads.

Teammates have had luck with warranty, worth a try
-
• #7840
What are you going for?
-
• #7841
Exalith isn't what was on the old ceramic open pros
-
• #7842
I went for DT Swiss R24 Spline from Mantel.
Considering they come with both QR and TA endcaps, it was the most straightforward option.
NB The endcaps aren't always included, I think it depends on the model year.
Aren't you going for a more gram friendly 650?

I have a reasonable set of pacenti/hope 700c wheels already so also want 650b for lols. Just not sure what rims to order.
-
• #7844
as i said, user error
-
• #7845
Old ceramic open pro's were the shit
Did I read here that new OP pricing is £149 per rim?
-
• #7846
For the exalith ones yeah, standard rims will be ~ £50
-
• #7847
Nice
-
• #7848
Thanks, will pass that on
-
• #7849
£60 and are already available ...

Going 700, so either Hope 20five or home-built DT 350 to R460 db or a slightly wider rim from someone else.
Always worth asking imo... Especially from the likes of specialized et al
