What can I say, I'm an inveterate window shopper. Fair point though.
I didn't end up buying the Wheelsmith carbon wheels, mainly because the problems with my back have flared up again and I haven't been able to ride a bike without significant pain for about 2 months. I still think they're a smart idea, and will be happy to pick a pair up when next summer starts and I'm in better shape.
However, thanks to some physio wrangling, I should be able to start riding again in a week or two, which means I'm looking for shite to buy. I think the wheels are the weakest link of my road bike atm (bar myself) so I fancied an improvement for the winter. Whatcha gunna do?

OK, well glad there's progress with the physio.
All the shit talked 1st time round still applies. It was a pretty circular (lol) conversation if I remember correctly.

^wow. That really is a fantastic deal. Well reviewed by bikeradar too.

All the prices there look good. They have sets of 1,330g tubs for £185.

Ardennes Plus? - Did you get them here in the UK? - interested to hear of any suppliers

20/24h with Lasers!

That review though...
No mention of weight limit or stiffness that I can see. Those would be pretty obvious concerns for me with that spec.

Use ROAD15 on clearance wheels for 15% off.
Tempted by the 38mm wheelset for £195 after discount...Would like 11sp compatibility though. ... -

HED in Sheffield.

£30 for those pave rims - shame they don't do drillings over 24h though. Seems odd.

I am Mr Sceptical.
Also decided to go Hope Hoops in the end.

I don't think spending a grand on bad wheels is a bargain tbh, even if they used to be even more expensive.

That Superstar Components website has got some serious deals in it. The £270 Pacenti wheel set is a better deal than the BHS build-kit, pity it's sold out else I would have jumped on it.

Mavic OTP wheels are so overpriced for what you actually get.

Even that, they're pretty much an old school company.

Recently got a DA9000 C24 wheelset. First use I noticed some 'shuddering' when using the rear brake, occasionally locking up the wheel. The wheel is true and the pads seem fine. After some google'ing it appears to be a common problem, but can't really find a definitive answer as to why. Anyway - these are probably going back because for £600, I don't want problems.
There isn't a great deal around that price range. Is there a decent equivalent or would I be better going down the handbuilt route?

Which pads are you using?
These have alloy nips.
Haven't we been here before @Mechamorgan ?
Flo30s were discussed and you told us you were buying Taiwanese carbon clinchers built up by the Scottish dude? Did that happen?
