what are you doing on this forum with bike like that ?!
There are plenty more expensive bikes than that on this forum.
Chorus? I don't get out of bed for Record at a minimum.

I've got a Record chain...

Bora Ultra 80 Dark Label's on Wiggle for £1,650, will look cool but are of the old-school deep'n'narrow design.
Tubs so they'll ride nicely, despite the narrow section, but I'd be looking for something a bit more modern in terms of profile.
I'd be tempted to make a "606" pairing with an 808 rear and a 404 front, if it's flat-out on the flat, although I was serious about going for Stinger's myself next.

£805 for an 808 rear, £748 for a front 404.
£1,553 for a much more aerodynamically advanced wheelset than the Bora's.

Or, £1,875 for ENVE on Powertap hubs.

I linked them out of interest. But the sharp Reynolds wheels look really cool.
I honestly think a 70kg rider on 90mm rims could lose more fast fighting sidewinds, than the aero gains them.
Fat = stable = fast

I think out of all the wheels I've slapped up the ones with the Powertap hubs would be the ones to look at- two birds with one stone.

I didn't realise he asked for a power meter? Solving a problem that doesn't exist?

the 65s look lovely.

But they're not ENVE SES. SES or GTFO.

I'll need some new wheels next year, in around six months I would imagine.
I wonder what will be the "new hotness" around then?

I was considering some archetypes laced to novatec hubs to take some of the sting out of Newcastle's shocking roads on a CAAD10, but there are some Easton EA90RTs on sale at CRC at the moment that have caught my eye.
Does anybody have any experience using them? Has low spoke count vanity led me astray? (6ft2 and a 'powerful' 84kg)

184kg?

Here's why I'd give Easton wheels with R4 hubs a wide berth:
I know spokes don't break with the pleasing regularity we got used to in the olden days, but if they do you're at Easton's mercy, or you'll need one of these:

Ah, cheers for that - reading the description I assumed they were using standard Sapim j-bend spokes. Back to the drawing board!

Should I buy some deep carbon clinchers from carbonzone. I won't be taking them to the Alps or that.
Just a vanity purchase you understand.

No

Methinks you are underestimating the strength of Enve's viral marketing campaign.
With Fairwheels, Prolly and WW on your side there is no need for a large marketing budget.
Not in the least .. The enthusiast may (will - if the proflic use of Enve stems is a good indicator) be influenced, but I feel sure you won't find Joe Bloggs triathlete browsing those sites. They're purchasing decision, will be biased to what the pro's of their sport are sponsored to ride.

I want some budget tubs for racing next year. Is there any reason I shouldn't get Planet X no logo 50s? I've not seen any bad reviews about them.
I'm only going to use them for crits at Gravesend and Hillingdon so don't really care about braking performance.
Other options are China or V-Sprint (but I'm not a fan of the graphics).
PX only seem to have 11 speed but presumably I can use a shim to run an 10 speed cassette?

What's wrong with Kinlin TB25 on Tiagra hubs if you're on a budget? About £100 complete
I'd be looking at Shimano 10 speed wheelsets that can be converted to Campag- they'll be getting cheaper and cheaper as the remaining stocks are run down.
