Erm probably around the price of hopes to be honest.

Wanna know what the cheapest way to get Hope quality hubs without the noise?

MGM - You don't get many options for hubs at £200 a pair and certainly not Zipp hubs, they'd be more like £500-£700 depending on type, bearing etc... Why not go for a cheap generic hub like those found on www.bikehubstore.com
Spencey - Go for the Shimano hubs then, you can get Ultegra for the same price as Hope with change or if you can stump up a bit more go Royce.

Tune hubs have a good rep- I am not personally familiar with them, but Smallfurry is.
I suspect you'd be looking at around £400 the pair (maybe more).
My latest wheels have Hubsmith hubs, which look nice and spin well- I have yet to ride them though.
My previous "generic Taiwanese" hubs need new bearings front and rear after 500 bone dry miles.
I am going to get some ceramic cartridge bearings for them.

Tune would make sense for a topend wheel build. They were well rated on the Fairwheel(?) test and seem to have a rep on WW. I can't remember which ones smallfurry went for - they weren't the uber light ones.
Mack are another option. The downside is the waiting time.
First step has to be to lock down your budget.

I have the Mig90/Mag180 pair. Not the lightest out there, not even for the lightest for the price. But they are tough, which is an important concideration for me.
The rear flange geometry, allows for equal tension when a triplet pattern is used. Which is my main reason for using them. I've been really happy with them BTW.

Does anyone have experience of Just riding along .com they sell the a23 rims I want and can build them but I've never heard of them before.
Also do you guys have any views on Ambriso hubs?
At the moment I'm thinking of an Ambriso Zenith on Velocity A23 build.

No. But they seem to have some pretty nice boutique components, if that means anything.
Google says: http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/justridingalongcom-delivery Which should give a bit of comfort.
You looking at these? http://www.justridingalong.com/shop.php?product=11368

Hugo there the ones I'm looking at but 32 rather than the 28s. Also from what ice read the ambrioso hubs are solid from what I've read.

Bonus points for cheapness.

Only problem is getting hold of a23 in the UK. I might order all the parts separate and have them built. You can buy a23 wheelset online on ebay from usa but I'm not sure how id feel about ordering them from usa incase of returns.
