..I was actually wondering - and it seems that yes, fog is indeed a type of cloud 🙂

saw this interesting effect today, not sure if this is an iridescent cloud, it was a bit more diffused and not as close to the sun as the examples I saw online.

Fog = cloud that has lost the will to fly.
