Anyone looked at horse polo gloves?

just looks like they are made to improve grip .
the likelihood of getting a horse polo mallet on the knuckles is pretty slim i should think.

I rarely get a hit to the hand.
I need gloves for grip of mallet and to help prevent floor grazes.
They gotta be a slim fit too and let some air in.
