Balls all ready ordered... Tell me what you want and I'll see if I can add it?
Shouldn't you be revising or something? ;)
yes. and what's the web page? I lost my pair of tac ops (or something like that) ones? I'd like another pair like that. They were good full fingered cycling gloves, and as fall approaches...

Am going to order some lacrosse gloves, what's the deal with sizing? Where is it measured from/to?
Sizing is the distance between the bottom of your elbow pads to the tip of your middle finger. I think mine were 13" and I'm normally an XL in riding gloves.

Ordered at 4pm, delivered at 11am! Guess the £6 is paying for individual couriering or something!

Argh! Not fair. I bought a pair of wheels last Wednesday. They'd better come today! Berlin is tomorrow :(
-

Tool venture do wheels?! :)
I've also ordered a bunch of stuff over the weekend, the gloves were the last thing ordered, first delivered. I expect the majority of the stuff to take more than a week!

Having been whacked over the head with a mallet end last night after several near misses I'm thinking of wearing a helmet, something to protect my face as well. Anyone already wearing something suitable?
Cheers

Paul from Manchster just bought a cricket helmet, with a visor, for £20 from Decathlon I think

MartinI bought one of these a couple of years ago just for general riding which I now use for polo as well. They are fairly cheap and good as a basic helmet. However, after seeing this guy in Berlin:
...as well as this guy at the opens, I'm becoming more interested in things that cover the face.
More over I'm interested to know what people are using for gloves and knee/shin protection. I've seen people wearing what range from MX gloves to huge chunky gloves, and some awesome looking knee and shin combo pads.

Yep, cricket helmet or hurling helmets are good option.
Check out ebay, you can get one for about a tenner.

Which ones are they?
Not sure, mine are some that I had around the house from a brief spurt of roller hockey when I was younger, but they look a lot cheaper than the Lacrosse gloves

Anyone ever think of goalie gloves? a lot of them are fairly cheap, well made, well padded and super grippy.
-
• #420
They wouldnt stand up to the abuse.

• #421
The gloves, or whoever'd wear them?
