Following Otters suggestion, my helmet now features a full face guard -
Tried this out last night for the first time. The grid is a little too hefty and does restrict view at times. Might be something I need to adjust too but I'm thinking a grid with thinner wire, similar to the hurling lids, might be of definite benefit.
