The solution is to listen to more jungle daily.
Just framed this. Will hang it above the decks eventually.

I made a dedicated Instagram account to post up jungle related contents. I've tee'd up a digital mix of 93 darkcore stuff that I'll do a live 'IG TV' stream as I record it. When I get to that - probably one evening next week at about 9pm, I'd welcome any feedback on sound quality. I expect it to be dire, but if it's something that people would generally bother watching and would appreciate better quality, I'd look to invest in an EverMix box to pick up the audio feed directly...

My copy of that book turned up this week, really enjoying it. Off the back of it I have ordered this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Check-Technique-Liner-Hip-Hop-Junkies/dp/0812977750
Apparently it inspired the Who Say Reload book. It is also a great read.
Where did you get that poster? I wouldn't mind a copy @J0nathan ?
Edit - found the poster on velocity press

Yep, you got it. There is a launch event this week in Haggerston. Might actually end up going to it but not definite.

This makes me crave SS breakbeats. Hopefully a bit of that sort of thing makes it onto the LP. I guess it would just sound old and out of place now, though. Stuff like this is just timeless for me though.
Even later but still now very old stuff has that clean, basic 2 step rhythm but still has some nice breakbeat work too. I recently picked this up and will be starting off a mix with it. I absolutely donāt care about the woofing - this is an immense intro/build up that just destroys it on the drop.
Actually looks like you can listen to the rest of the tracks here: https://backtojungle.bandcamp.com/album/dj-ss-presents-back-to-jungle-volume-2

I've booked a table for two (going alone though) just in case a tempo run with my running club doesn't float my boat

Really feeling this track. Weirdly funky, off-kilter, filtered acid reverb riff got me nodding...

Great techy and mostly rolling mix just did a turbo session to. Loads of tunes I didnāt know about:
Good stuff. With any luck I'll get another digi mix done this week that will go straight out, along with a coupe of vinyl ones too.
Gotta include more Skeleton...
