  • You want this thread.

  • I've been really considering getting one of those low frames. The problem just is that they got that 30rake alpine fork without hole for a brake. There doesnt seem to be any 30rake drilled forks, just 35. How would putting 35 rake fork on a frame designed for 30 affect things?

  • Would have to draw it with head angles included but it is likely to reduce trail and make steering slightly quicker/less stable. Also need to factor in any change of axle to crown and therefore head tub angle.
Saying that, I have changed forks by 5mm and can't say it is that noticeable.

  • Italian ≠ style

This is a bit better imo

  • faux pros in my opinion aesthetically:
histogram < green mash < grey mash < dodici special < affinity lopro < kagero < mash bolt < pelizzoli < low:

the frame atleast, not liking the build or the 52 frame size that much.

  • i used to really like the look of the low but the toe overlap looks (and is supposed to be) fairly ridiculous.

  • faux pros in my opinion aesthetically:

    ftfy

  • The chainstay looks like it has been bent inexpertly with a pair of molegrips.

And the welding looks like I did it.

The welds on my gt look like David Blunket power pointed the instructions Ray Charles who whispered to Ed how to do it.

    <<<<<<<<<<<<<

  • on some of the new ones the welds seem fine:

  • That's being really nasty... to Ray Charles.

  • btw what's this dasia? gimme some fotos

    edit:

naah, too long and not really digging the graphics, not really digging the 90's vibes

  • And I agree, in the Faux-pro game Low is winning, even with welds looking like keloids.

  • one thing making them welds look sub optimal is because the best look for a low frame is raw metal. with putty and paint welds disappear

  • That Dasia looks fugly with those forks, shite paintjob too.

  • the paint job is why I bought it.

  • Needs chinese forks.

  • oz. presents a good point...

or maybe some of those aero type, deep blade crabons.

  • the paint job is why I bought it.

    Work that one out then.

  • anti theft paint? unless ray charles is stealing as well as building bikes

  • Boo-yah!

  • quoted into this thread for posterity

  • "I can't ride new Cinelli's because their paint schemes give me seizures. The laws of physics, subtraction, and good taste state that you shouldn't have more than 2 colors on your frame unless it's a Ritte".

  • Who the fuck wrote that cock snot?

    They ain't sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
