I've been really considering getting one of those low frames. The problem just is that they got that 30rake alpine fork without hole for a brake. There doesnt seem to be any 30rake drilled forks, just 35. How would putting 35 rake fork on a frame designed for 30 affect things?

Would have to draw it with head angles included but it is likely to reduce trail and make steering slightly quicker/less stable. Also need to factor in any change of axle to crown and therefore head tub angle.
Saying that, I have changed forks by 5mm and can't say it is that noticeable.

i used to really like the look of the low but the toe overlap looks (and is supposed to be) fairly ridiculous.

The chainstay looks like it has been bent inexpertly with a pair of molegrips.

And I agree, in the Faux-pro game Low is winning, even with welds looking like keloids.

one thing making them welds look sub optimal is because the best look for a low frame is raw metal. with putty and paint welds disappear
