  • Is the Zoncolan a good saddle? I have Concor Lights on both my Principias and I do like them, but I have to say the Zoncolan looks damn good. Probably costs an arm and a leg too.

I was disappointed by the version with the huge cut out. Felt like the sac drop hole was so big, more material had to be used further out hence the overall surface area of the saddle was bigger. It's a no from me.

  • Okay. Was not planning on trying that one, but it is good to know.

  • I now own one of these

not quite as comfortable as my Romin, but definitely workable and looks the business.

I have a mantra with the massive cutout on my roadbike and I really like it. it's not that dissimilar in shape to a zoncolan with cutout, a bit wider and more rounded. probably my junk is so massive it doesn't matter.

I was trying to work out what you had on the new bike.

I kind of get on with the the Romin and kind of not. I don't find it uncomfortable (and when I'm in the drops it's great) but I don't completely forget about it like I do with the Regal-e.

  • here in milano one fixed gear shop already has one of the limited (21) and brandnew cinelli laser frames in a "medium" size for sale. with a discount just for 7.500€.

  • Go get it tiger :D

  • Apart from the sloping TT (IMO), this looks 1000 better than a Mashelli.

  • I actually like that much to my surprise, did it said lowh? even the decal I liked.

  • The chainstay looks like it has been bent inexpertly with a pair of molegrips.

And the welding looks like I did it.

  • Good spot on the chainstay? what on earth it's for? 64t chainring??

    This.

I don't see how that is any different.

This is still the best imo

    [frame not build]

  • Not with a slope.

  • I do like the Low.

Still. After market fork, external headset, dale' chainstay and generic tubeset aside.

It will never be a Cinelli.

  • clearcoated low with red decals is one of my dream frames. God damn they look nice. So much better than mash.

  • Backwards Low

  • Are the HS cups swapped?

  • Still nicer than a Mash.

  • I think they are swapped, looks pretty cool I reckon. And yes, as a whole moar better than the MOSH.

  • Why so much better than Cinelli - Is the tubing better, is the construction better?

Surely not just judging on the colour...

    Seriously?

Do you guys have some secret Emperors New Clothes thing going on where you're trying to convince everyone else one of a set of virtually identical frames is significantly better than the other?

If anything the Low is worse. The welds are gash, and it's imitating a MASH. What's to like over a MASH? The extra non-mainstream points?

...and an upside-down blue ano headset(?). Trying to hard and making something that looks shit = fail.

You're missing the point, or at least my point; LOW frames (r) fly, MASH don't... simples.

  • all the same, all the same shit. 945$ for an alu frame with ugly dropouts and bad weldings.
but as massan is promoting them, a lot will fol-low.

  • k,srsly.... LOW is like FUBU - comes from the ghetto "for us, by us"...
CINELLI has a fucking reputation to be concerned about.
When they decide to come out with the sort of 'pearls' like the ones of recent years,
sorta makes you think if they've lost the plot. That is it for me.

  • the thing I really dont get why doesnt leader (I know about the limited edition thing), or some other similar brand, already make a 400-500euro lopro, clearly people want some if brands like low are possible.
