I'd have a mash. Then have it painted and replace the branding after.
Why is the geo illegal? Seen lots of people saying it but not saying why.
Apparently it too fast too fury.

Yep, looks nice.

That new paintjob is actually quite nice.
Errr....no it isn't.

That would be called a cheeater no?

Cinelli paint jobs are more like abstract paintings so some will hate them and some will love them, they are not to be appreciated and studied like a Vermeer but taken for what they are, like disposable modern art.
They wouldn't make it into my gallery anyway :-)

You have a Visp, I have a Pompino.

so, what's the general opinion on that new vigorelli up there? ^^^
not that i care for one, but at least if i buy it, i will know whether to post it here or not :)) -

Uglier than the Mash IMO. I don't know if it's the lighting at the show or something, but in every shot I've seen of it, I hate the finish on the paint. As well as not liking the colourway itself.

"the finish on the paint" is the most usual clearcoat, innit?..
-
• #694
us-version, only available in the us. but the colors looks like the belgian or german flag.

Yeah, but to my eye, there is something a little 'off' with the finish of the clear coat. It reminds me of my rattle can attempts to paint things. Just the way it shines...I can't really explain it. It doesn't look like any of the other million gloss black bikes out there, which I have no problem with. Maybe it's just covered in fingerprints and that's doing something.
Also, I noticed on Prolly he wrote "You just can't go wrong with black wet paint". Not sure if the 'wet' part is meaning something other than regular gloss. Saying that, the black doesn't look bad in this close up shots.
But what do I know...my favourite Vigorelli/Mash is the one Garrett Chow rode in the Tour of California:

in my understanding "wet paint" is something opposed to powder coating, which obviously is not "wet". it is weird however for a mass-production frame to be "wet-painted", but i'm sure Prolly didn't mean anything special - come on, if you make a dosen posts each day, you can be forgiven if you run out of words for once? :))

Looks like a very high gloss. Maybe several layers of laquer?

I imagine they'll be fine in the flesh (the black at least, I still don't like the red/gold-green/yellow, particularly the forks). It could be that they've just polished the hell out of it for the show and then put a lot of matte/satin black parts on the build that just highlights it even more.

i may join Ordinata in ranks of Cinelli-likers/outcasts in here, but in fact i like that black Vigorelli. i think i'd ride it, if (1) it didn't cost $1000 like i'm sure it would (2) it wouldn't be US-only. although there may be options...

I also do not dislike the black model as built up in nuknow's picture. Cinelli's marketing is really irritating though.
