  • Who is the art director for Cinelli 'track' frames I wonder. They seem to really struggle with what is a pretty straight forward job. Maybe start off with a plain, decent solid colour and see how that goes first before branching out to patterns and graphics?

  • You mean not like a Cinelli?

  • Most Cinelli's look pretty good in the flesh, the majority of builds we see on this site, of Vigorell'is and Mash's posted on here are a dogs dinner of hipster partts.

King Cutter built a nice Vigorelli, and if you look at a lot of the ones built up for proper track use they look ok.

However that USA one does look the bizniss

  • You mean not like a Cinelli?

No, I mean not like a contemporary Cinelli.

  • New 2011 Mash - new geo too

  • Wow... new frame, same shite.
    Good job.

  • Quite like the paintjob, least better than the original that is.

  • New 2011 Mash - new geo too

Have they really change geo??? where??

Top tube flipped, supposedly more aggressive. Argh.

    fixed:

  • That new paintjob is actually quite nice.

You have a Visp, I have a Pompino.

    our opinion mean jack shit.

  • my opinion mean jack shit.

    ;)

  • I'd have a mash. Then have it painted and replace the branding after.

Why is the geo illegal? Seen lots of people saying it but not saying why.

  • needs moar spacers

Cos paying that much to then get a different paint job is money well wasted as far as I'm concerned...

  • Not if you know the right people. Get some friends, do some favours and favours get returned.

Also I'd buy it second hand when they're no longer a hip thing to have.

  • Said it a million times, one word:

    NITROMORS

  • @Pisti
Are your forks original? Im about to strip my Mash but the carbon forks are an issue. Im debating whether I can realistically strip them with wet 'n' dry or just to get a similar (suggestions?) replacement.

  • Wooooh, woooooooooah! Let's get one thing straight - I DO NOT OWN A CINELLI MASH!

  • Denial

  • i bet you want too though

  • Wooooh, woooooooooah! Let's get one thing straight - I DO NOT OWN A CINELLI MASH!

I think the lady doth protest too much!

No i meant on your completely non-hipster associated Bianchi.

  • The forks were black....carbon with a clearcoat. Had a small Bianchi decal down the side of each so just got a very fine(about 1,200grit) wet n dry on it and buffed it off so still left the forks clearcoated everywhere else but left a slight hew where I'd rubbed off
Put a bit of WD40 over it though and it looks bang on - then I put some black stickers over it to cover it up a bit
