Ha, I worked in aviation for a while, the welding there was something else. You had to get reaccredited as a capable welder every six months or something, and rightly so. Smooth like butter. An old boy set me up with a welder, and I blew straight through the first twenty pieces of scrap I tried to weld together.

you have at least three posts on here bitching about shit ali welds on a mash...then you go an post your own build...an ali frame with welds that looks like joey deacon himself joined the headtube to the toptube and downtube, and did it in the dark, with a blindfold on in a blackhole using chewing gum, then spraying it silver.

Please don't call me 'dude', I'm not from Cali and nor are you. The difference is sonny my frame cost £250 and has better welds(atleast they had the foresight to put filler over them than leave them raw), you got raped for £700. Seems Joey Deacon was the quality controller on the production line of the Cinelli/MASH efforts too then

besides...does it really matter? one thing seems to have been missed on this thread. i didn't buy the frame/get raped for my cash because it said MASH on it. far from it. firstly i got it cos i aboslutely loved the shape and the colourway. second i bought it cos its a cinelli...i can't think of many better hallmarks of quality or design (even if afterall it does say made in china!). i honestly couldn't give a fuck about the mash thing...doesn't even figure. its a cinelli and in my eyes its beautiful.
