I just got a brake put on my whip and now i find out i can't cut off the integrated seattube because verde are retarded and made the inner diameter not a seatpost size... Sad times.

It'll have to do until i bust it or get given some handmedown frames

I doubt it'll be 22.2mm in there. Either leave it as is or find someone who can extend it. I'm biased though as I've got a Sunday Schwartz and I love my integrated seatpost.
