JOL made some adjustable double powestraps with velcro recently
-

Cool, are there any pics floating around? What I find interesting about these ones is they thread through the pedals like double straps, but have a power strap "sleeve type thing" which can be adjusted, seems like a really good idea.

Just explaining to James on pm that pics will be this weekend.

Had a look at these tonight with Jol, and very impressed, finally a worthy powerstrap alternative to double straps and clips, that looks like it should last! I should be testing a set sometime soon so I will keep y'all updated and get some pics info up as soon as Jol says its cool to do so.

Yuh I would probably put it here: http://www.londonfgss.com/thread20570.html with a spec below if possible, that'd be great, sorry the whole going out to shoot some pics didn't workout on the weekend, I got trashed saturday night and slept until the afternoon lol.

Only one set in existence at the moment, gotta speak to Jol about whether he is happy for me to use those or not yet as they are pristine and good for showing people the product I guess! I'll chat to him soon.

Awesome new prototype powerstrap/doublestrap hybrid combo being tested by John Prolly, looks interesting....

Hey guys.
Just made a new prototype due to a few comments from James.
James you are welcome to try the old version but it might be worth waiting as the new ones are MUCH better. I'm going to go down the sew-myslef route so they will be ready as soon as I can get my hands on an industrial sewing machine on t'bay.Next week probably.
Thanks for the interest.

Dale.....I love you, awesome find mate.
-
• #72
Oops, just saw them 70psi max?! No good for big drops, probably gonna stick with randonneurs, which I love btw, best tyre I have ever ridden, gonna go 35 up back and 42 up front now.
-
• #73
the psi rating will be identical to rando as essentially same tyre but more rubber. rando hold higher pressure no problems.
-
• #74
Ah ok, I coulda sworn my randos are rated at about 15psi more though? mine run 100psi no problems atm, but my rear is fucked so getting swapped out for a 35c, more cushion for pushin ;)
-

32 rated at 80psi. bigger the tyre lower the rated psi. you should know from bmx and mtb
