I have a persistent...something at the moment.
Think it started as a bit of a spot but has become just a fairly hard lump under the skin now, slightly red, causing slight discomfort but definitely not pain.
Not sure what to do other than let it do it's own thing, maybe it'll grow into a third baw?

I had exactly the same and completely forgot about it until you mentioned it.
In the end I stopped cycling for 4-5 months as it was getting me down how I couldn't enjoy a single ride without discomfort. Just had a feel down there and the hard lump has now gone... -

Hmmm, hoping I can sort it without significant time off the bike.

One thing which definitely improved it was saddle choice. My Romin wasn't helping the situation, with it's hard outer shell right where the lump was. I swapped it out for the only spare saddle I had at the time, an Aerocoach Axis saddle, which was much flatter and softer.

I had a couple years ago that I had to have cut out.

I have recently discovered that what feels comfy does not necessarily mean right for me in terms of saddles. Have a fancy 3d printed saddle. Feels very comfy to sit on and ride but gave me terrible saddle sores and an achy bollock. Gone back to my slightly uncomfortable but consistently not bad spesh power and I'm sore free again

Get an astringent on it regularly like witch-hazel dont stick a pin in thinking it will pop . It wont it may come out on its own like a ridley scott scene or fade .If you develop a temperature see a doctor as you can get blood poisoning .

Are you using padded shorts and chamois cream? I never used to bother with either but was getting similar stuff to what you're describing if I had a particularly busy few days on the bike for work. Pads and cream sorted me right out.

Can recommend magnesium sulfate to draw out stuff that feels too deep to lance. A week of that patched on nightly sorted out what I thought was a permanent deep-set sore.

Chamois for longer rides but commute to work in jeans and boxers. Cream, never.

It sorted me out! Worth giving it a go. Not great for commuting though, unless you like turning up with a creamy arse.

Having just added some questionable content to my camera roll, is there any point in doing witch hazel/magnesium sulphate if there is no sign of whatever it is on the surface? The skin is totally normal.

Pics or it didn’t happen

Just checked, but as yet there is no 'pictures of my arse' thread on here, which is quite a surprise.
For those of us who rode at least 6 days a week for many years and a Selle Italia SLR was always a comfy chair, all saddles bloody hurt when you've had an extended time off the bike. It's not the puny legs that are the problem, but the impossibility of riding frequently when your butt takes days to recover...

Christ, it makes me wince thinking about riding on an SLR for 6 days straight. I would almost certainly be sterile after day 1
Dredge.. Had a bad case which didn't clear for almost a week. Red enflamed at the contact points of saddle and spent most of my commutes standing on the peddles. It was an unbearable few of days. Tried some aloe vera juice from the sagging plant in my garden and worked a charm, cleared right up after just 2 nights of application before bed.
