my understanding is that trolling = to subvert or decieve. The majority of trolls may be dickheads, but that's simply a coincidence, and not a prerequisite of trolling.

eg would you say andy kauffman or crispin glover or Joachim phoenix were trolls, and were they dickheads? First ones to come to mind.
