My mate killed someone once and he was about to be sent down for thirty years but in the court he just went "ifiminnocentsaywhat" really quickly to the judge and the judge was like "what?" and when he realised what he'd done he had to let my mate off and this really happened.

Back in the '70s my dad was getting a flight via Egypt and amongst the people waiting on the tarmac were a large group of women in full bukas all with matching large makeup cases.

An irate customs officer started shouting at them and then proceeded to open the cases to reveal every one of them contained pigions. Being exposed to the light the pigeon all woke up and started sqwarking.

Some one next to my slightly confused dad explained they were pigeon smuggling. Obviously this much he'd grasped. Why, was what confused him. Apparently they were used to race and Egypt had good pigeons.

This bike was bought for this lady customer of mine by her parents for passing her 11+ exams in 1959. She’s had it ever since and has ridden it all over Europe. The Dynohub has finally given up the ghost but the rear 3-sp is doing just fine. Lovely.
