It's the Dig BMX logo:

countless tattoo'd arms have that logo. I think Will (from Dig) reprinted it in high res for ppl who wanted it as a tat.

I was more thinking a posh person - you know with a top hat, but 'wizard' works too . . .

Wizarded up to placate the violently radical 'wizard' element in the audience. :P

125 Designs. You guys are nuts.
How the hell am I going to get a usable poll out of this?
-
• #1041
collage ?
-
• #1042
Do rounds..... like qualifying in F1... only 50 go through out of 125, then 25 out of that 50 then 10 out of the 25 then decide final designs.
-
• #1043
thing is i know exactly which t shirts i like. if they went out in round one say i wouldn't vote on another. Simpls'
-
• #1044
Yeah but we can't make any more than probably 10 designs (cost etc) so we need to be able to whittle it down to that amount of designs that people are all willing to pay for.
-
• #1045
I'm going to hack a page together that shows thumbnails of all the designs and allows you to click them to vote for them.
It will be 2 rounds I think... 1 round just to highlight the designs that should be carried forward.
And then the 2nd round is effectively pre-order... you vote for the ones you actually would pay to own. Then any from the 2nd round that could be viably produced will be produced and actual ordering will be opened up to everyone.

Sounds good. Do we know how much the forum profit margin varies if we make 5 designs instead of 15 etc?
-
• #1047
Really it's units.
So if 5 designs only sold 400 because that was the size of the market for 5 designs, then we would've made less for the forum than if 15 designs would sell 600.
Yes there is an overhead of creating the screens per design, but this is why each design that gets produced must be viable by itself. If a design has enough demand to cover the cost of the screens and produce a profit (however small), then it gets made.

• #1048
Call me a fuckwit but is it possible to create your own screens to print them off by hand, in order to maintain production much further into the future for a more constant income ?

maybe confusing, if there are thumbnails clicking them I would expect to see them bigger

that is good, but what happen if one of my designs is not going to be produce, (only 7 votes) .Can't I choose another one of the ones is going to be produce?

There'd be a link underneath to view the original size.
Clicking images because radio buttons are tiddly small and would make the whole poll insufferable.

In both rounds you'd vote for ALL the designs you'd be willing to purchase. But only the 2nd round are likely to be put in production.
So in the 1st round you aren't actually committing to buy anything - just asserting interest were it to be made... and in the 2nd round the numbers will be used to justify production so it's a lot closer to a commitment to buy.
Anyone know where I can get a hi-res of this?
mdizzle?
