This workshop is highly recommended, as I've said before. You'll learn everything you never wanted to learn about bikes. :)

• #59
is it one long workshop or is it okay to turn up about 8?
-
• #60
Hi Honest,
Sorry not to get back to you before, if you are looking to use a particular tool and or know what you are doing it should be alright to turn up at 8:00 but we tend to discourage it as in our experience people who turn up at 8:00 usually turn up on the worst bikes requiring many hours just to make road worthy and our Church landlords tend to get upset when we stay late.
If you can not make it before 8:00 every Tuesday our friends in Tower Hamlets do a workshop on the last Saturday of the month http://www.towerhamletswheelers.org.uk/workshop/ or you want to learn about mechanics then you could try volunteeringw withother friends of ours the Walthamstow Recycling project http://www.lfgss.com/thread6389.html
If you just want to know about bikes you are welcome to join us for a drink after the workshop at the Baxter's Court 282 Mare St E8
All the best

You might want to ask Velocio or hippy to change the thread title, Adam, as there are now three workshops per month. (You can change the title that appears within the thread yourself but not the title that appears in search listings and in the browser bar.)
-
• #74
Thanks Oliver how do I contact Velocio or hippy?
-
• #75
Just PM them. I take it you've sent PMs before? Or stick it in the moderators thread. It may be a while, as Velocio is away and I'm not sure hippy is currently moderating.
