we used to play 5 on 5 years ago whe we had the old clay court and it was fine. it was massive though..imagine about 4 times the size of chorlton...this is prolly double the size...

Just thought of 2 other spots to play. Adam, remember that car park up by Ilva (sp?) we checked it out in the early scouting for tricknology.
Also, the time trial car park. Great when it's raining!

I found two courts which I think are ideal, one even has goals that are bike width apart. The court's larger than PF but smaller than Chorlton, but there's two of them side by side.
Probably a bit far for most of you but these will be my new training ground - only 30 seconds from my house means shooting practice every night until I'm as accurate as snoops!

They look perfect! Fuck, that's not that far I'd be up for trying that tomorrow. Can't you get the tram out there? It would only take 20mins to ride there. Wayne you make the effort to cycle from yours all the way to pf or whitworth week in week out, so i reckon we should do the same. Depending on the availabilty we could make this our regular tuesday court then make an effort to be at pf to welcome newbies every thursday (please note we son't have to play at pf, but meet there and check for newbies before he head to whitworth)

Is it fenced or walled?
-

Good fencing on sides and the ball bounces nicely. Small gaps where you get in but bags will block these. I'm gonna go tonight and have a proper knock around so I'll let you know tomorrow.

there are trains to Trafford Park from Oxford Rd if you really can't be arsed to cycle... but it only about 4.5 miles.. so not that far....... looks like the trains back to town are pretty infrequent tho'...

It takes me 15 minutes to cycle to Fallowfield from my house in Polo Gear and these are just around the corner. I'm not sure that the train to trafford park would be that useful.
I'm finishing work early today to get some polo miles in so I'll take pictures.

I had a go on thee courts today. Plenty wide enough but not as long as Chorlton. Good surface and fences. Slightly raised in the middle so the water drains off to the sides. Worth a look I guess and a few locals said they are not really used after the kids have gone in for their Ts.
