Thread resurrect!!

Police fail to release footage of protestor that clears him until last working day before trial; trial dropped. Sorry for bringing this thread back to life, but stuff like this really pisses me off.

Also, the investigation into Smellie hitting a protestor should be finishing just about now. I read a report about the beginning of it - he claimed he was intimidated by the carton of orange juice in her hand and that's why he hit her repeatedly with a baton - but does anyone know how it's going / how it went?
