national rail app. brilliant. it tells you the nearest station (BR and tube) with distance to, and all the next trains times from any platform
Yeah I've got that as well.. also tells you your next train home from the nearest station. you can also follow it's progress and see where it's going.
Worth every penny

+1 If you travel a lot with work or just decide to cut a cycling trip off short this app can save you a lot of headache. I love how it knows what platform to transfer to as well so you can just run between trains without bothering finding a screen.

bit off topic, anyone had their iphone repaired? google brings out a couple of online repair shops. just want to know if anyone here have used one or have any recommendations. does anyone know if apple (regent st) do repairs/battery replacement?
my wife's 3G iphone's screen is cracked. and we both need a new battery. at the moment full charge only lasts 18hrs or so (wireless and GPS turned off).
really disappointed with the battery life.

diable has a mate who repairs 'em. He couldn't get a replacement screen for my Samsung but iClones are common as muck so he can probably help. PM him.
Yeah, 18hr with any sort of smartphone use is pretty good btw.

I don't know specifics but just chatting to the
market-led sheepadvertiser fodderworkmates of mine, my phone was lasting similar time for similar activity.
I'd get maybe 2 days after I modded it and if I only used 2G and limited calling, browsing, etc. If you do anything funky like 3G, wifi to a lesser extent, GPS then you will only get a day. -

Bit of a dredge there old boy - but coincidentally I just started using Cyclemeter on my iPhone to virtually race myself to work and back each day. Very exciting.
Costs buxx but not too bad.
