  • That's the one!

  • That one didn't work for me, but 1 number different did:

    http://store.apple.com/blah

    Google it... :)

  • Oh.

Everything is tl;dr these days. Is it naughty to link direct?

  • ^ Might be... i have edited my quote in case.

Don't want the forum getting into any bother.

  • ditto.

  • Anyone playing Letterpress? Its an awesome and very addictive little word game by Loren Brichter.

  • Yep. utterly shite at it though.

  • Had a go with an ipad mini today. Silly light, well built, and the screen is fine. Not great, but not an issue. I'm getting one.

  • Ouch. Stupid Apple.

  • ^ Not really.. according to their last quarterly report. The amount of $21m is a only 0.017% of their current overall cash reserves.

Most people probably spend more than that % of their current cash reserves on their lunch every day.

  • Fair. Pocket change. No, not even change. Lint.

  • It's a massive blunder though. If you take other companies to court for copyright infringement, design theft etc, you should make sure you got your own shit sorted first.

  • It's definitely a blunder but I still don't think it's a massive one... they can still afford to make the exact same blunder 576 times before using up even 1% of their on hand cash.

  • From a cash point of view it's peanuts, wouldn't surprise me if $21m is a fair price for the license.

I think it's more about respecting and paying others for their creativity.

  • I don't see a red ball on the second hand of a clock to be very creative, but whatevs

  • Maybe not, but someone designed it, and stealing that design is poor form, think of it what you like.

I use PhoneView. It works just fine. http://www.ecamm.com/mac/phoneview/

Thanks... but it looks like it's a .zip file, meaning I need to download it onto my computer, unzip and install it on my ipad / iphone, which I can't do because my computer is dead.

Unless I'm missing something. Is there an app?

  • I would worry about the computer first.

  • I don't really give a shit about the computer, it's old and pretty much everything is backed up to an external HD.

I want to know if I can transfer music between my ipad and iphone WITHOUT using a computer.

  • what about iCloud & iTunes Match?

  • Yeah, I tried that... but it didn't work.

Maybe I wasn't doing it properly, or it didn't work because a lot of my music is ripped from CD's / downloaded (not from iTunes).
