Mine just bricked on the 3.1 software update. Got it all restored now though, but it was being a right mare to deal with properly.

Lucky I hadn't Jailbroken it or it would've taken basically forever to restore properlike.

I review iPhone apps sometimes - never found a really good GPS cycling app, though. Battery life is a killer, too. Maybe the next model, or the model after, and it will become really practical for everyday.

On another note, my iPhone went off for a repair quote today. Everyone cross their fingers for me - if it can't be repaired I shall be straight on here, grumping it up.

i don't mean to point out what might be obvious, but if you are importing all the contacts on your computer or whatever, there are settings you can set... or options you can opt... or... you know.

On a serious note, its quite interesting listening to the dispatchers and the responses. Its all very matter of fact. Heard responses to shots fired, street brawls, deomstic disputes, some guy thrown through a restaurant window. Plenty happening in Chicago.

There are also stations with Air Traffic control and Rail Control.
