  • Plug into iTunes and reformat?

  • Hammer?

  • Fuckin' magnets?

  • How do they work?

  • The iphone app adverterised on the banner up there for 30 rides is really good btw. Very happy with it, nice and clear. Good routes too, an nice range from canals & markets to the DD.

  • How can I quickly remove everything from and iPad? I mean settings for email/apps and other login information for applications on the iPad.

Rub your penis over it at a rate of 50 times a second. If it doesn't hurt, you're not doing it right.

    Plug into iTunes and reformat?

    Lies.

  • Install the find my iPhone APP then whenever you like, remotely wipe it with a couple of mouse clicks. Stuff can still be recovered through IT forensic recovery but then the only way to prevent that is to scramble the storage chips which will also kill the processors.

  • Plug into iTunes and reformat?

Will that remove everything? All apps and login information even for built in apps like mail?

It's nice, but it would be better if the routes had more than just the start points shown on the map. The Wandle Trail route runs from Beddington up to Wandsworth, but only has a marker in Beddington, and no sign of the route, so you have to click into it and then show the map to find out that it goes through Merton and up to Wandsworth. Maybe an overall map of all the routes with less detail would help.

  • is it possible to play video out from an ipod classic to a screen?

yes, either with a 2 ring/3 wire mini-jack cable (like you get with video cameras sometimes) or through the dock with an s-video cable.

  • Will that remove everything? All apps and login information even for built in apps like mail?

No idea, but I know that's how you'd do it on an iPhone.

  • Good stuff I'll give that a go later then.

    thanks!

  • Ninja edit for not realising I was reading the most recent posts. Twat.

  • Good stuff I'll give that a go later then.

    thanks!

Don't bother with the 'Restore from iTunes' as mentioned before, you can nuke the iPad by going to 'Settings > General > Reset' and choosing the 'Erase All Content and Settings' option. It's faster because it doesn't re-flash iOS in the process, just deletes all the content and settings.

  • Sounds much easier! Will that remove everything though? As in all my mail settings and contacts?

  • Will that remove everything?

    And later...

Sounds much easier! Will that remove everything though?

What have you been looking at on that thing, you mucky bugger?

  • iPad has a nice wipe clean screen

  • Sounds much easier! Will that remove everything though? As in all my mail settings and contacts?

Yeap it will nuke the whole iPad, see the docs.

  • Apple is completely and utterly screwed. Fucked. Finished.

Developers have hated giving Apple 30% of the price of each app, and forcing them to be sold through the AppStore. Well, good news, after Apple said that Adobe Flash on a mobile phone was for viewing porn, and stating that HTML5 was the future, its now proving to be the way that companies can sell stuff on iPhones and iPads, and not pay Apple a fennig.

Oh its a real shame. I am gutted for Apple.

  • Very interesting GA2G,

  • There's probably something in here about it already, but has anyone seen or have a decent case/cover for Iphone4, I've just taken over my friends contract and the silicon rubber cover he's got is rubbish, looking for something a bit harder/robust.

    let me know many thanks

  • Corny, I've got a Speck Candyshell and it's awesome. Little bit chunky (makes it hard to plug the iphone into docks) but v protective, and quite cheap from amazon at the moment. Cost me about £8.50 and normally retails for £30.

  • Both Object and mumble bang on about this cases, especially since they both quite like dropping their phone on a regular basis.

  • ^^ My wife has two Speck cases. One for iPhone and one for iPad. They're both really nice and service from Speck was top-notch.
