Didn't hate foundation; but I think it was mostly because it was so well made. The plot was dogshit though.

I really enjoyed foundation but I’d totally forgotten about it, which tells you something!

As in the Hugh Howey one? Hadn't realised that was coming on TV.

That’s the one - no I was taken by surprise a little. Only spotted the trailer the other day, which was the first I’d heard of it.

Not read the source material but really enjoying Drops of God

If anyone wants a real flavour of Japanese underclass and Sumo, check out Sanctuary on Netflix. Best thing I've seen since Makanai...

Caught up on citadel. I’m indifferent. We’ve not got much to watch at the moment. But we’ve just finished Jack Ryan and the gulf between the two is massive.

Is citadel worse than Jack Ryan?

On a different tip after people had mentioned the Diplomat we downloaded it and watched the first episode and were really disappointed by the sub Silent Shitness plot/script/acting.
We then realised we had downloaded it off Alibi and not on Netflix. We had been watching the wrong series entirely. Now got to find time to start the correct show.

Enjoyed the first two silos enough to carry on, sweet tooth is back too.

So help me, my partner watched all of Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, and I sat there while it was on, and I ended up watching it too, and I ended up liking it.

It's OK.
I sit next to my OH while they watch love at first sight.

Been reading the Slow Horses books after binge-watching the TV adaptation. For once, impressed even more by the TV version; captured the spirit, changes not drastic and quite justified. I'm ahead of the TV series now but I'll still watch it when the next season drops.

Does this work for ted lasso too?

Slippery slope. It'll be married at first sight next.

I sat next to OH watching Great Expectations, and it was stunning. From Pip's sister being a dominatrix to Jaggers blackmailing gay judges to Pip becoming an opium addict to Miss Havisham not dying in a fire, it was a thorough defiling of the corpse of Dickens.
At one stage, I mentioned it was really like that shite 4th season of Peaky Blinders, turns out it was by the same guy. Don't watch much telly, so when I see something and it's dreadful, I get disproportionately cross.

love at first sight.
Absolutely next level batshit car crash TV. We watched the last one. Fucking phenomenal cringe fest

LastPenultimate one next week... -

IMDB says there are still 2 episodes left.

I quite enjoyed the Diplomat but could have done with the massive cliff hanger at the end.

I fucked up - read the episode list on wikipedia as if this was episode 9.

From. A monsters come out at night thing.
Started watching the second series, couldn't pick up the story line, went back and watched the last of series one and remembered why. I'd stopped watching five episodes in. Cannot gain any empathy with any of the characters so really don't care what happens, in fact the best bits are when the ghouls come out to eat their innards.
No spoilers from me - my memory is adhd-addled awful and I was struggling to remember even basic plot-points! I remember enjoying the first book though.
I tried Foundation and gave up after a few episodes. I just wasn’t clicking with it at all - and I’m generally pretty sci-fci compatible and capable of watching utter dross as long as there are spaceships and lasers.
